Grace Connection

What are congregations to do when there is a need on the doorstep, literally?
Where are people to turn in times of financial and spiritual crisis?
Grace Connection is an ecumenical venture of the churches in the Towanda, Northeast Bradford, Wyalusing, and Sullivan County School Districts.

The aim of Grace Connection is to lovingly aid people over the hardships of life by connecting with them in the name of Jesus Christ, and to help provide assistance when and where other angencies are not available.

Grace connection provides monetary emergency assistance for:

  • Shelter (assistance with security deposit, hotel room, rent, & utilities)
  • Transportation
  • Emergency food
  • Clothing
  • Furniture
  • Emergency prescriptions
  • Hygiene items

The assistance provided is in no way intended to be a reliable source of income to the person applying. Rather, it is an aid for establishing a more secure future.

Providing financial assistance is just the start. As congregations and individuals enrich the ministry of Grace Connection with their ideas and support, Grace conncetion hopes that many more service ministries may arise. There are needs that extend beyond financial assistance and Grace Connection hopes to respond to some of those needs.
